Mid-level Software Developer

Remote - Full time

Full Stack Mid-Level Developer needed at Anthroware.
We are hiring for our headquarters in Asheville, NC or Remote.

Salary: $75k - 100k

Anthroware is a custom digital product shop with mastery in design, engineering, and product strategy. A Mid-Level Developer at Anthroware works with the Director of Development and team members to create applications, and can be relied on to make strong suggestions on how an application's architecture should be designed. We're looking for someone who knows how to make good decisions and recommendations and wants to move to a leadership position.

Responsibilities:
  • Work under direction of senior devs to deliver high quality, efficient, secure code
  • Work with multiple backend and frontend stacks
  • May assist with DevOps and CI setup and maintenance
  • Assist in estimating new work
  • Can help lead and mentor more junior developers in our network and projects.

Skills Needed:
  • Leadership, Communication, and Organization
  • Mastery over one or more of:  .NET MVC, Graph API, Node
  • Strong grasp on various SQL platforms and/or NoSQL
  • React, Typescript, JS
  • Some experience with AWS, Azure, Netlify, Vercel
  • Familiar with Auth0
Bonus Points:
  • Flutter and Mobile DevOps
  • Insatiable curiosity

Project and time management: Everybody at Anthroware works to ensure that a project will be completed on time meet the stated client goals. They will be very clear in setting expectations with the project stakeholders to explain what will be delivered and when it will be delivered. They will ensure that project team members understand the project requirements and timeframes and provide the leadership necessary for their team to succeed.  We are all responsible for the success of the projects. Tactfully, we affect delivery outcomes by being personally accountable for our commitments.

Will help drive the company’s technology roadmap:
Technology changes rapidly. Solutions that we use today may not be the solutions we need tomorrow. It is important that the right solutions are used for each project in order to provide the highest level of service to our customers. Many considerations must be taken into account in order to ensure this including what technologies are maintainable, what resources we have that support these solutions and how does this solution serve our clients.These decisions cannot be selected on the fly and we must stay on top of emerging technologies and be prepared to use them when the time comes.
