Public Consulting Group is assisting public schools, and State and Local Education Agencies, to take their Title 1 funding workflow to the next level with new digital tools to help teams collaborate and succeed. For MVP we developed a killer brand and robust web application.
Title 1 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act provides financial assistance to local educational agencies and schools with high numbers or percentages of children from low-income families. The law states that districts must use a methodology to allocate state and local funds to each Title I school. New regulation requires districts to increase visibility and accountability of the use and allocation of federal funds.

Public Consulting Group was motivated to be the first-mover in this market to provide compliance software in order to add ease and transparency to the complicated funding pipeline. Anthroware joined with PCG as a design and development partner. Together we helped draft the MVP and crafted beautiful software that people love to use. We created several UI themes, chose a direction, developed a name and brand, and coded the app—all within just three months.
Components ranged from simple user-navigation menus to complex, dynamic data visualizations of expenditures and allocations. Users can compare reports across years and schools; they can even manage the approval process with a built-in notification system. Anthroware’s solution grants a high degree of customization per use-case — coupled with a beautiful, intuitive interface — allowing any user to interpret complex information and make data-backed decisions.
